The Shitty Theology Along I-95

Our ability to know the fullness of God will always be limited. It is not possible for mortal minds to comprehend the infinite and the eternal. But God comprehends us. God knows us. And in that is a powerful declaration of solidarity, and the basis of our salvation. For if our sorrows, our sufferings, even our deaths happen within God’s experience, then we are never truly separated from God.
For if we, through the Trinity, understand the experiences of Jesus as at the heart of the experiences of God, then we cannot do otherwise. In our community of faith, we take into ourselves the suffering, the pain, the loss, in order to transform it with the love, hope, and grace of the Gospel.
